Event Description
After review of the medical records the patient was revised to address metallosis left hip.Operative note reported scar tissue, remnant of posterior capsule, synovial fluid a non purulent appearing, metallosis stained tissue in the synovium and taper had some mild corrosion.Patient had elevated metal ions.Doi: (b)(6) 2008.Dor: (b)(6) 2022.Affected side: left hip.
 
Event Description
Male patient received a left hip asr-xl revision to treat metallosis.During the procedure, the summit femoral stem was retained and the patient received a biomet cup and liner and a biolox delta femoral head with a titanium sleeve size 40+ 5.
