|
Information was received from a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for urinary/bowel dysfunction and urge incontinence.The patient reported they had blood in the urine.They said that the therapy has not worked for them at night since 2017.The caller reports issues with voiding and burning at night since 2017.The caller repeated that they have to use catheters at night and dribble.Reviewed with the caller that they can try a different setting at night to see if that helps.The caller asked which setting.Reviewed they would have to try it to know if it helps.The caller reports that they work with rep on settings and will ask them to help make a change.

Additional information was received from the healthcare provider (hcp).They reported that the patient did experience urinary retention prior to the device and the retention did not worsen as a result of the device/therapy.Catheterization was a standard of care for this patient prior to device.Mdr decision corrected to not reportable.No additional supplemental reports are required unless additional information received indicates reportable event.
