Event Description
It was reported that the patient had their hip done by surgeon at beaumont royal oak hospital.Patients wound was looking inflamed, and surgeon felt the patient needed to be washed out with a head and liner exchange.When in hip, cultures were taken that confirmed infection.Hip was thoroughly washed out, a new head and liner was implanted, and the hip was reduced.Stability of the hip was confirmed, and the closing process began.There was no surgical delay doi: (b)(6) 2022.Dor: (b)(6) 2022.Affected side : left hip.
