Event Description
It was reported that the patient lives in a nursing home. There, the patient had a lot of falls and countless scars on his body. The wife reports that already before christmas there was a worsening of the symptoms. The patient has very poor symptom control on the right side of his body and can no longer touch anything. The wife noticed error code 1703 when reading with the patient's handheld device and informed the physician. the impedances were measured and it was determined that it was an out of regulation (oor) code. The stimulation cannot be delivered because the impedances in the right hemisphere are too high. This affects all four contacts. The session report showed all right stn monopolar contacts were >5k and all bipolar contacts were >10k. the patient immediately went to the emergency room and was cared for by the hcp.It is unknown if the issue resolved.
