Event Description
|
An attempt was made to use one nc euphora balloon catheter to treat a non calcified, non tortuous lesion with 60% stenosis in the distal diagonal branch.The device was inspected with no issues noted.Negative prep was not performed.The lesion was not pre-dilated.The device did not pass through a previously deployed stent.Resistance was not encountered when advancing the device.Excessive force was not used during delivery.It was reported that the balloon ruptured during the first balloon inflation at 12 atms.The device was changed to another device of the same size.The patient was reported to be alive with no injury.
