Event Description
It has been reported to philips that the device restarted while the 12-lead ecg was in use with a patient.After the device was restarted, it appeared to function normally.There is no known harm or consequence to the patient.
 
Manufacturer Narrative
Diagnostics was performed and after re-starting the device it functioned satisfactorily.On site support was then provided involving preventative maintenance, software verification and the lower level button test performed.The logs were reviewed and no issues were observed.Based on the information available and the testing conducted, the cause of the reported problem could not be determined.The reported problem was not confirmed.The device performed satisfactorily and remains at the customer site based on the information available no further action is necessary at this time.The data entered in this complaint record will be utilized for product quality and safety improvements per the post market surveillance and risk management processes.The device was confirmed to be operating per specifications and no failure was identified.The investigation concludes that no further action is required at this time.If additional information is received the complaint file will be reopened.
