Event Description
Information was received from healthcare provider (hcp) via a manufacturer representative regarding a patient having pelvis to t10 fusion for an indication of t10 to s2 posterior spinal arthrodesis.It was reported that during 1 year postoperative follow up, the patient reported back pain that started after bending and feeling a pop sensation.The pain is located in the mid back with radiation down to his pelvis and the rod breakage was discovered while measuring patient's post op for this case and will likely need revision fusion to fix the broken rods. there were no further complications reported regarding the event.
