Event Description
Philips received a complaint by the customer on the v60, indicating that the battery was not intermittently charging.It is unknown if the unit was in patient use at the time of the reported issue.No patient or user harm was reported.The customer evaluated the device with the assistance of the remote service engineer (rse) and confirmed the reported problem.The customer called to report that their battery was not intermittently charging the battery.The customer reviewed the event logs and confirmed 3 occurrences where the unit was operating on battery power.The customer was unable to duplicate the issue.The rse then advised the customer to verify the output of the power supply to the power management (pm) printed circuit board assembly (pcba), an electrical safety test to verify the power cord, check the room outlet for steady power, and to check if the room was repositioned.
