Information was received from a manufacturer representative regarding a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for fecal incontinence. It was reported that there was low impedance, 0-4 contact were all showing orange. troubleshooted: reseated lead, cleaned it, turned off or lights.Lead would not seat in the battery. After the doctor tried to secure the lead with the screw driver, we heard clicks, but when they tugged on the lead, it came right out.Seems like the lead could not be secured in the battery head even after tightening it with the torque wrench. new battery placed.
