It was reported that an ak 98 v1 dialysis machine was leaking from the tube that connects to the bypass.During an unspecified process step, it was observed that the tube that connected to the bypass was loose which resulted in the leak.To resolve this issue, the tubing was tightened.There was no report of patient injury or medical intervention associated with this event.No additional information is available.

H10: the device was not received for evaluation; however, the machine was evaluated on-site by a baxter qualified technician.Upon visual inspection, it was observed that the tube that connected to the bypass was loose which resulted in the leak.The reported condition was verified.The tubing was tightened, and machine returned into service.A service history review revealed no indication that the parts replaced during servicing caused or contributed to the reported event.Should additional relevant information become available, a supplemental report will be submitted.
