Event Description

It was reported that patient (pt) mother was on the line and noted that sometimes the pt will be charging and suddenly will not get any bars (coupling) and the mother has the pt move to another room and that seems to resolve the issue.The mother asked if the large radio/power tower in the area could have an effect--tss advised emi can have effects but the caller should utilize the dial on the antenna as well to try to hone in on good coupling.The mother states this has been the case since implant.No symptoms reported.

Additional information received from the manufacturer¿s representative (rep), which was confirmed with the healthcare provider (hcp), reported the emi issue did not resolved.No other actions are expected because at this point it was not a large inconvenience of the patient.
