|
Medtronic received information regarding a navigation system being used outside of a procedure.It was reported that when the system was started up, it shut-down automatically.Afterward, it was started again and the procedure was completed without any problems. there was no patient involvement.

Additional information was received, it was confirmed that there was no patient involved since the issue happened prior to the procedure.The procedure was a endoscopic sinus surgery (ess) and the issue caused no delay and no impact to the patient.
