It was reported that the deep brain stimulation (dbs) patients lead exhibited high impedances when the patient came in for activation of the right lead. The patients caregiver reported that a fall could have occurred and the patient may not recall as she has memory deficits secondary to her disease state.Troubleshooting was performed, but was not successful. The patient underwent a revision procedure to explant and replace the burr hole cover and the right lead. The patients impedances were within normal range and the patient was doing well postoperatively. The explanted products were disposed of by the medical facility.
