Event Description
Medtronic received information regarding an imaging system being used outside of a procedure.It was reported that while testing the emergency door opening procedure with the side yellow button, the gantry was halfway through opening when it slammed shut.Afterwards, a gear near the imaging system door opening nut was found on the ground.No patient was present.
