Event Description
|
Information was received from a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for urinary/bowel disfunction.It was reported that they are having a heck of a time trying to increase their stimulation.Patient wants to increase stimulation because it is not working as good as it did before they had an mri.Patient said they are not sure it is set up high enough.

Additional information was received from the patient.They reported that they were having problems with going to the bathroom.The patient further clarified that since they had an mri scan on (b)(6) 2023, their symptoms of incontinence returned.They thought something hadn't been turned back "on" after the scan and that was why they wanted to use the external devices to connect to their settings.Helped caller connect to implant and increase settings.Caller was able to feel stim comfortably and will monitor symptoms.
