Philips received a complaint from customer biomed reporting an auxiliary alarm failed message occurred on the v60 ventilator. The device was not in clinical use. There was no report of harm.A philips remote service engineer (rse) evaluated the issue with the biomed engineer (bme) and confirmed the issue. The bme reported the issue occurred soon after replacement of the power management (pm) printed circuit board assembly (pcba). The bme alleged the new component was the cause and requested it be replaced.A philips authorized service provider (asp) tested the pm pcba with a new one, but the device still showed error codes 1115 and 1104.The device needs a new mc pcba, power supply, and cpu.Investigation remains ongoing.
