Event Description
It was reported that this right ventricular (rv) lead exhibited oversensing of noisy signals while the pacemaker was in safety mode.The noisy signals were attributed to myopotential noise.As a result, there was pacing inhibition that resulted in a syncopal episode for this patient.The device was explanted and replaced.The lead remains in use.No additional adverse patient effects were reported.
