It was reported that stent dislodgement occurred, resulting in vessel trauma and requiring additional surgical intervention. The target lesion was located in the non-tortuous and mildly calcified common iliac artery. After local anesthesia was administered, an 8.0x40x135 cm express ld vascular was advanced to treat the lesion. However, the stent's proximal end prematurely opened up and the stent dislodged without the balloon being inflated. The dislodged stent caused intimal injury and an embolectomy was performed as the stent could not be snared. The dislodged stent was successfully removed and no further patient complications were reported.
