Event Description
It was reported approximately one week post-implant of the implantable pulse generator (ipg) system that the patient had discomfort at the incision site.  incision site was reddened with two and half centimeter redness above and below  the incision site and was itchy due to irritation from the glue.The glue was peeled off and the incision was covered with a gauze sponge with a yellowish drainage/exudate since two days.Infection was suspected and medical intervention was initiated.The ipg remains in use.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
