Event Description
|
On (b)(6) 2023, the patient was treated for an abdominal aortic aneurysm.The physician implanted a gore® excluder® aaa endoprosthesis, a gore® iliac branch component, and a gore® internal iliac component.The patient tolerated the procedure.On (b)(6) 2023, it was determined that the ipsilateral leg of the excluder main body was compressed, competing for space in a narrow aorta.The physician performed a thrombectomy with an embolectomy catheter, and was able to reestablish the flow.The patient was put on heparin, and then the limb was relined using a gore® excluder® aaa endoprosthesis to give additional radial force to compete equally with the contra side.The flow was restored, and the patient tolerated the procedure.
