Event Description
|
It was reported that during the right ventricular (rv) lead implant, when an attempt was made to connect the lead, high impedance values and presence of noise in the rv intracardiac electrograms (egm), rvtip-ring were noted. The rv lead was removed and connected again and slipping of the coating, coating damage was confirmed. When the rv lead was measured via the analyzer in a prolonged state, the data did not change however, a deflection was made the impedance became abnormal, same as when connection was made.A new rv lead was placed and the procedure was completed. No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
