|
Information was received from a healthcare provider regarding a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for unknown indications for use.It was reported that the impedance values were high and not within range (not on the day of surgery).The cause was unknown.They had a return of baseline symptoms.The issue was ongoing.

Information was received from a healthcare provider regarding a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for unknown indications for use.It was reported that the impedance values were high and not within range (not on the day of surgery).The cause was unknown.They had a return of baseline symptoms.The issue was ongoing.Additional information was received from the patient.They reported that patient gained weight since last surgery.Ipg seemed to have been flipping multiple times as the lead was all twisted and fractured at header.New lead and ipg had no impedances intra operatively.[hcp] decided to add extra stitches to try to avoid the ipg being able to flip in the patient.Additional information was received from a manufacturer representative (rep).The rep reported that they put all details into their submission with serial numbers affected, explanted, implanted (which are the ones not affected).
