Event Description
An attempt was made to use one nc sprinter balloon catheter during interventional surgery to treat coronary atherosclerotic heart disease.It was reported that the balloon ruptured during surgery.The balloon was removed immediately and anticoagulation therapy was intensified for the patient.It was noted that the patient had no obvious injuries however, there might be a risk of embolism caused by part of the balloon remaining in the body.No further patient injury was reported.
