It was reported that this cardiac resynchronization therapy pacemaker (crt-p) recorded episodes with noise over sensing at both right atrial and right ventricular channels. After analyzing the noise, it appears as electromagnetic interference more than minute ventilation termination algorithm. Also, no signal artifact monitoring episode was recorded and no out of range lead impedances were recorded. It was suspected that a procedure could have taken place. The right atrial rhythm appears to be marching through, but it was not possible to determine if the right ventricle showed appropriate pacing. The patient was hospitalized at the moment of the call due to shortness of breath. The crt-p remains in service at this time.No additional adverse patient effects were reported.
