Philips received a complaint from the customer, reporting that the v60 ventilator was restricted from use, and needed a central processing unit (cpu) replacement.There was no patient involvement when the issue occurred.No patient or user harm reported.A philips remote service engineer (rse) noted that the customer's v60 ventilator needed a cpu replacement and needed assistance with installation and reloading the option codes.No further details were provided regarding the system restriction.A service engineer (se) noted that the cpu was replaced; it was reported that the device was tested and then returned to service.Additional information is being requested.
