Event Description
It was reported by the patient that they had an episode due to a lack of oxygen and they fainted.They stated the episode occurred at 8am but the implantable pulse generator (ipg) clock was offset by one hour due to daylight savings.They stated "it would have been helpful in emergency room if my pacemaker was had the correct time to know i had an afib event that time and was on the floor".They also noted they have atrial fibrillation (af) episodes frequently that the ipg attempted to correct.The ipg remains in use. no further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
