Event Description
Philips received a complaint by the customer on the v60 indicating that the device is getting error code 110b - proximal pressure sensor auto zero failed message. The device was in use on a patient at the time the reported issue was discovered; however, there was no harm to the patient or user.No medical intervention provided to the patient, nor a delay was noted. The customer evaluated the device with the assistance of the remote service engineer (rse) and confirmed the reported problem. The customer stated it has a code 110b in the significant log. They also replaced the flow sensor assembly recently. The rse informed him to check the pin alignment between the flow sensor assembly and the data acquisition (da) printed circuit board assembly (pcba). The customer called back into technical support and advised that it was the pin alignment that was the issue. He reseated the da pcba and had the unit run for over an hour with no issues. The issue is resolved. The device passed the required performance verification tests per philips standards and was returned to service. The investigation concludes that no further action is required at this time.
