Event Description
|
Philips received a complaint on the v60 ventilator, indicating that there was a check vent: proximal pressure sensor auto zero failed alarm.The device was reported to be outside of use at the time of the reported problem.No patient or user harm reported.The customer informed the remote service engineer (rse) of the error code and then confirmed the alarm in the device event log.The customer stated that no work had been performed on the device.The rse advised the customer to perform the following troubleshooting steps in this order: verify the pin alignment between the solenoids and data acquisition (da) printed circuit board assembly (pcba), replace the 3rd and 4th proximal autozero solenoids, and then replace the da pcba.The customer stated that they performed a full performance verification test on the device and was unable to duplicate the reported problem.The rse advised the customer if the same issue ever returned to follow the troubleshooting steps previously provided.
