This report is based on information provided by philips field service engineer (fse) and has been investigated by the philips complaint handling team.Philips received a complaint on the xl+ defibrillator indicating the device has a high voltage discharge issue.The fse evaluated the device and found it can¿t discharge sometimes.The high voltage capacitor was replaced, and the device returned to full service.No further actions are required.Based on the information available and the evaluation conducted, the cause of the reported problem was due to the high voltage capacitor.The problem was confirmed.The device was operational after repairs were completed.The investigation concludes that no further action is required at this time.If additional information is received the complaint file will be reopened.
