Event Description
It was reported that patient experienced an ear infection due to vns surgery.Modified information from the reconciliation report states that ae 1 ear infection did not meet serious adverse event criteria and is noted as mild in severity and possibly related to implant procedure, not related to stimulation or device.The event is recovered/resolved.There is no indication that action was taken.Device history records were reviewed and the device was seen to be hp sterilized prior to distribution.Device evaluation and return of the device is not necessary.It will not add value to the investigation as the root cause is known.No other relevant information has been received to date.
