Event Description
|
According to the reporter, during a laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, when the stapler was introduced four times into the trocar, the seal of the device was damaged and it disengaged, air or gas leaked from the seal of the device.It was also reported that the trocar was losing pneumoperitoneum.Another device was used to resolve the issue.There was no patient injury.
