Event Description
|
Information was received from a trial patient who was using an external neurostimulator (ens) for fecal incontinence.It was noted that the patient's trial started on 2024-feb-07.It was reported that the patient was hospitalized with an mrsa infection.This issue was on going.The device was removed due to the infection.

Event Description
|
Additional information was received from the patient.The reason for call was that they had the stim trial in (b)(6) 2024 and developed a mrsa infection so the trial device was removed.Patient stated they received a letter regarding the event and called to answer the questions.They stated they were not going to proceed with the permanent implant.They thought the mrsa infection has healed.And they still had the device and would return it to the hcp office.
