The device was not returned to zoll medical corporation for evaluation.Instead, the device logs of the customer's report was provided.Review of the device log showed several occurrences where the device was unable to charge for a shock due to a charged, lead fault state.Charged, lead fault occurs when the device is not recognizing that pads were connected to the patient. The log indicated this may have been a result of the electrode pads not being connected to the multifuction cable properly.Analysis of reports of this type has not identified an increase in trend.
