Event Description
It was reported that a patient underwent an atrial fibrillation ablation procedure with a qdot micro¿ catheter and the ngen generator displayed the error message: "heat slope too high" when the catheter was connected and the medical team was coming on ablation.The ablation stopped almost immediately.They checked the irrigation and it appeared that something was clogging the pores on the tip of the catheter.The correct catheter settings had been selected.The catheter was replaced, the issue was resolved, and the procedure was continued.No patient consequences were reported.
