It was reported that this pacemaker was suspected of exhibiting premature battery depletion.Data analysis was performed, and boston scientific technical services indicated that the power consumption is increasing in a gradual fashion and recommended device replacement due to this anomaly.If a new replacement window is desired, the healthcare professional can send new data to have the battery status re-evaluated.There were no adverse patient effects reported.The device remains in-service.
