A male patient underwent an aquablation procedure for symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia (bph).Procept biorobotics corporation (procept) became aware that the patient experienced mucosal damage in the bladder neck, which was managed by catheterization for 10 days to allow for healing of the area.The event was reported as moderate and serious, and related to the procedure.No malfunction of the aquabeam robotic system was reported.
