Event Description
|
Medtronic received information regarding a navigation system being used in an unknown procedure.It was reported that there were exposed wires on the break-out-box (bob) from wiping down the cord.Afterward, the site noticed that the bob was working intermittently.The site started using the local representative's (rep) loaner bob and no issue has happened since then.It was noted that the probable cause of the issue was the bob.There was a reported delay to the procedure of less than one hour.There was no reported impact to the patient.
