Event Description
|
Information was received from multiple sources (manufacturer representative, healthcare provider) regarding a patient who was implan ted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for unknown indications for use.It was reported that patient had issues with recharging.Additional information was received.The manufacturer representative (rep) reported on 2022-mar-14, not syncing with the controller.Then on (b)(6) 2022 the recharging unit was faulty, investigated, able to connect to ins but disconnects after 1-2 minutes then reconnects repeatedly.Patient may take multiple attempts before it pairs or connects or sometime 6 hours to charge the ins.New recharger provided and solved the problem.On (b)(6) 2023, the ins was not being fully charge, keeps on disconnecting, from the charger patient feels the battery had change angle.
