Event Description
It was reported that leakage was found coming from the blue port of the cook spectrum minocycline/rifampin impregnated triple lumen central venous catheter after placement in the neck of a 39-year-old male patient.The patient did not experience any adverse effects due to this occurrence.A video provided by the customer showed a crack in the catheter hub.Additional information regarding event details has been requested but is currently unavailable.
 
Event Description
In additional information it was reported that the leak was noted immediately after the procedure during injection.The patient required replacement of the cook spectrum minocycline/rifampin impregnated triple lumen central venous catheter.
