Event Description
|
Philips received a complaint from the biomedical engineer (bme) on the v60 ventilator indicating that the display was dim even when it was set to full brightness. There was no patient involvement at the time the issue was discovered as the issue was found during device setup. The bme also stated that the liquid crystal display (lcd) may be a first-generation hydis brand. The remote service engineer (rse) advised the bme that the complete user interface (ui) assembly was on backorder and emailed a supporting document which outlines the display upgrade to a second-generation lcd.The rse also included the necessary part numbers and software requirement.
