Event Description
Philips received a complaint from the customer reporting that a caster on the v60 ventilator was damaged.The device was not in clinical use.There was no report of harm.There was no patient or user impact.A philips remote service engineer evaluated the issue with the biomedical engineer (bme) and confirmed the reported issue.The bme reported that the caster brake lever had been broken off.The bme confirmed the caster was replaced to resolve the reported issue.
