Event Description
Information was received from a patient regarding an external device.  the reason for call was pt says when charging ins it either says no device found or it takes a long time just to connect to start charging and says this started "like last week sometime".Pt tried taking bp out and resetting which didn't fix issue.Pt was able to start charging with excellent quality and controller is at 80 percent and ins is at 40 percent.Rtm cord looks intact but "gets hot pretty quick".During the call the quality of charging went from excellent to poor.Controller port looks intact and so does battery compartment.The issue was not resolved.An email was sent to the repair department to replace the device.No symptoms were reported.
