It was reported that when the respiratory therapist (rt) was changing the ventilator from the o2 therapy mode to the nppv s/t mode, the ''vent inop'' alarm was activated and the ventilator would not ventilate. The rt reported there was no harm to the patient as the patient was placed on an alternate o2 delivery device and then placed on another nkv-330 ventilator. The rt turned off the ventilator, restarted it and the ventilator appeared to boot up normally. With multiple attempts by nkom to obtain more information regarding this incident for the purpose of failure investigation, the hospital would not share any patient declassified information or the debug logs or provide access to the ventilator.
