Philips received a complaint on the v60 ventilator indicating that the device shutoff while increasing the o2.The device was reported to be in use at the time of the reported problem. No patient or user harm reported. The customer informed the remote service engineer (rse) that they were increasing the o2 and the ventilator shutoff. The customer reviewed the device event log and found a ventilator restarted and software exception error code. The rse informed the customer that according to the service manual, when the ventilator restarted error occurs with a software exception error, then no action is required. The rse recommended to the customer that they run the device and perform a performance verification test (pvt). The customer called the rse back and informed the rse that the device ran overnight with no issues and passed the pvt.The investigation concludes that no further action is required at this time.If additional information is received the complaint file will be reopened.
