It was reported that the patient with this pacemaker device, the battery was using 127% of power than expected.The patient was in atrial fibrillation (af) and was to be gone under afib ablation.Technical services (ts) discussed options for vvi to reduce sensing of high atrial rates.This device remains in service.No adverse patient effects were reported.
