Event Description
Philips received a complaint on the v60 ventilator indicating that the device could not be powered on.The device was reported to be outside of use at the time of the reported problem.No patient or user harm reported.The customer informed the remote service engineer (rse) that they could not power on the device.The rse provided the customer with the latest service manual revision t.The rse instructed the customer to test for the 24 volts direct current (dc) that should be going to the power management (pm) printed circuit board assembly (pcba).If there was no voltage found/measured, then the rse advised replacing the pm pcba.The customer informed the rse that they disconnected and reconnected the power cord and the battery, and the device powered on fine.The customer tried many times to recreate the initial unable to power on issue but was unable to.The customer stated that they tested the ventilator and it passed successfully.The investigation concludes that no further action is required at this time.
