It was reported that the vns patient developed an infection after he picked opened his generator site.The patient was admitted to the hospital where his wound was cleaned and the patient was given antibiotics.
 
Event Description
On (b)(6) 2014 it was reported that the patient had not been picking at the pocket site, the patient had a spider bite that got infected.The site was washed out twice and the generator was not removed.
