Event Description
It was reported the patient¿s battery eroded through their skin and it was explanted.It was noted a new pocket was created for the replacement battery and the battery was replaced.It was stated testing or troubleshooting was not required and the issue was resolved.The patient¿s status was reported as alive with injury because they had an open wound at the time of report due to the battery eroding through their skin at the device pocket.It was later reported the patient appeared to be doing fine.
