Event Description
|
It was reported that there had been ¿impedance issues¿ on their implantable neurostimulator (ins) since 2011.It was noted that the patient was having a revision and was currently in the or at the time of report. The reason for the revision was that the patient¿ ins system had impedances >4000 ohms specifically on electrode pairs with electrode #0.Further impedance testing showed that a couple of electrode pairs showed ¿???¿ after increasing the pulse width (pw) to 240.It was then advised to also increase the voltage to 2.0 volts during the impedance testing which then resolved the ¿???¿ issue. It was also noted that the healthcare professional used the left side lead that had a lot of scar tissue near it.There were no further details, interventions or outcome reported regarding this event.Further follow-up is being conducted to obtain this information. If additional information is received, a follow-up report will be sent.
