Event Description
It was reported that the implantable cardiac monitor became very superficial and uncomfortable for the patient.The physician decided to monitor the patient and re-evaluate at a later time.It was also reported that during implant of the icm there was initial resistance making the incision with noted patient skin was very tough.The icm remains in use, and no patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
